Slug dumplings!!!

This one's for Mother!

Heading her list of Reasons Not to Move to Germany were dumplings. I believe this was the result of a somewhat traumatic banquet in Berlin, where every single course consisted in some shape, size or form of dumplings.

So when I came across the little beasties pictured, I just couldn't resist. Dumplings in the shape of slugs, another of her favourites!!

Having bought them in a fit of hilarity (it appears they are Schwabisher specialities, potato noodles properly called Schupfnudeln, I can't actually bring myself to eat them, so much to they resemble slugs.

:-) Serves me right!
